Hello!  I’m Christa Svoboda and am so honored that you would join me in this space for moms.

 

I have been married for 15 years, I can’t believe it has been that long!  It seems like we said “I do” a few years ago at best.  But, at the same time, I don’t really remember doing life apart. 

We were married young and I had always dreamed of one day having a lot of children who I would school at home.  Fast forward to the present, here we are!  Our five children range in age from 11 years old down to our newest little blessing expected to arrive early November. 

 

I am a second generation homeschooler!  I continued my education with undergraduate and graduate degrees in elementary education and LOVED being a teacher in a classroom for a few years before we began a family of our own. 

Before we began having our own children, we agreed that we wanted to make our focus as parents to be intentionally raising our children for the short time that we have them here with us. 

 As with most meaningful work that produces a lasting reward, the challenges and the joys have been greater than I ever imagined.  I would not be the woman that I am today if it were not for the ladies that have gone before me, and the ones who are walking beside me, in the journey of raising a family and building a home.  The hope, joy, and purpose that they speak into me daily keeps me grounded and focused on the important work before me. 

So here I am, excited to Seek Wholly Living with you as we choose to live a life of hope, joy, and purpose together!
